Powertraveller is pleased to announce the forthcoming powerchimp+ - a portable charger for mobile phones, iPods, handheld games consoles and more. The powerchimp+ also incorporates the motormonkey in-car charger so you'll always have power on the move!

The powerchimp gives you instant power, rechargeable via USB in five hours and with a ten-year life span. It works by using the two included rechargeable AA batteries to power devices and will also recharge most mobile phones once fully before the batteries in the chimp will need recharging. Simply recharge the powerchimp via your computer using the included retractable USB cable. The powerchimp weighs 73g including batteries and measures 92 x 40 x 24mm.

The included motormonkey is the world's smallest, lightest in-car charger, working on both 12v and 24v sockets. Sleek and unobtrusive, motormonkey can be left plugged into the car cigarette lighter when not in use, without draining the car's battery. The motormonkey is designed to be permanently located in the car's socket, sitting passively until needed. Only when the handheld games console, mobile phone or other electronic device is connected does the internal intelligent circuit activate the supply of power to the unit. When the device connected is fully charged, motormonkey will automatically shut down - ready for when it's needed next! The motormonkey weighs just 40g and measures 43 x 24mm.
